Non - Copyright music

Copyright music is music that is made by a artist or person, that is regulated so that other people cannot copy, distribute, change or sell that piece of music. By copyrighting this piece of music, it is clear that only the creator has permission to use that music and others have to ask for permission to use that sound clip. The copyright is usually put in place by the record label to not allow people to use the song to make a profit.

Non copyright music is music that is created by artists that have not placed copyright onto their music, allowing other people to use their music as long as the artist receives permission from the person trying to use the track, this way the person trying to use the track cannot get in trouble for using a track that has copyright on it. A person can get in to trouble for using a track has copyright laws on it, in the UK using copyright can only lead to a civil matter, instead of in the USA using copyright music can lead to a criminal matter. this is where an individual can be prosecuted.
